7 Organizations That Make Us Grateful to Be Marketers

7 Organizations That Make Us Grateful to Be Marketers

Fall leaves background with wreath and message for Thanksgiving

Fun fact: In advertising, the average agency-client relationship lasts just 3 years. At Devaney & Associates, many of our clients have been with us for 5, 10, and even 20+ years. The reason is pretty simple: we fight for our clients’ brands, because we believe in what they are building.

In honor of the season of gratitude, we’d like to take a moment to give thanks for some of our nonprofit clients who are building something we can all get behind: a better world. (Full disclosure, we tried to keep the list to 7, but we couldn’t help ourselves. We love all our clients!)

Please consider supporting these organizations this #GivingTuesday (December 3) and all year long. Click on each organization’s name to learn how you can help.

Kolleen Kilduff

1. Kolleen Kilduff,

Senior Art Director

Honoring diversity holds a place near and dear to my heart, so I am grateful to Chase Brexton Health Care. Regardless of social status, gender, race, or sexual orientation, they provide everyone with quality medical care and, more importantly, honor each and every patient for who they are.

Renee Landis

2. Renee Landis,

Account Executive

I am thankful for the selflessness of all our nonprofit clients, especially Carroll Hospital and LifeBridge Health who specifically support cancer patients and their families. As someone who has lost loved ones to this disease, I am grateful for all of the hospitals and medical centers that fight for patient recoveries and a cure.

Casey Boccia

3. Casey Boccia,

Creative Director

Baltimore City is my heart. I’m raising my kids to be “city kids” because I believe in the community’s inherent goodness. So I’m thankful for all our nonprofit clients—like Tuerk House, Total Health Care, Ingenuity Project, and Chase Brexton Health Care—who are in the trenches fighting to help our city rise above its biggest challenges, including addiction, poverty, and access to quality healthcare and education. These organizations and the people who work for them are proof that our city is worth fighting for.

Lindsay Hebert

4. Lindsay Hebert,

Public Relations Director

I’m especially grateful for Project Sanctuary because of the meaningful and important support they provide to U.S. military families. Founder Heather Ehle recognized how badly our military families can struggle – financially, emotionally, mentally – after service, and built an organization dedicated to doing everything it can to give these families the resources they need to succeed. It’s such an inspiring story, and I was proud to help share it with our local media this year.

Diane Devaney

5. Diane Devaney,

President

When I look back at our agency’s history, I am so grateful for Carroll Hospital. They have been more than a client—they have been a true partner—for more than 20 years. Their success has been our success. I am continually impressed by the high quality, compassionate care that they provide my family and my community.

I am also grateful for Leadership Maryland (LMD) and Maryland Leadership Workshops (MLW). As a LMD graduate, I am thankful for the network of professionals who have become more than a resource—they have become friends. And as the parent of a MLW student, I am grateful for the learning and bonding experience they provided for my son.

Susan Casey

6. Susan Casey,

Media Director

As someone who has cared for an aging parent,  I’m grateful for Presbyterian Senior Living for helping caregivers like me find peace of mind, knowing that our loved ones can still have a good quality of life and retain independence. They offer a number of beautiful communities in picturesque settings and services to accommodate older adults depending upon their needs. They offer so many amenities like bistros, aquatic centers, fitness centers, and walking trails, as well as activities such as model train club, woodshop, and gardening, so the residents can continue to maintain an active and fun lifestyle.

Lisa D'Orsaneo

7. Lisa D’Orsaneo,

Account Manager

I work with so many, I don’t want to just pick one! The work our nonprofit clients do every day is inspiring. From caring for the health of our communities, to serving people with substance abuse issues and/or barriers to employment, or just making a better, stronger Maryland, these organizations are truly making a difference in people’s lives. I am humbled they choose us to help promote their important missions.
