Earlier this month, the D&A creative department planned an all-agency exercise to put the other departments’ creativity to the test. Members of our PR, media, account services, accounting, and leadership departments were split into four groups of hypothetical creative teams to help a beverage company launch its new brand of hot tea.
The four teams had to come up with:
- A clever brand name
- An unforgettable tagline
- A cohesive mood board with brand colors, and images, to fit the overall brand
When the 45 minutes were up, each team had to pitch their tea brand creation to the panel of esteemed judges (the D&A creative team). However, there was a catch! Each team was given a last-minute client request—this varied from including a celebrity spokesperson to not using the word ‘tea’ in their brand name—that had to be included in the finished product.
Here are just a few of Team D&A’s experiences with the exercise:
It’s safe to say everyone had a fun-filled and educational morning that they won’t forget—that’s part of what makes working for D&A so great! Looking to join in on the fun?
