Associate Account Executive

Full-Time Position

Devaney & Associates is seeking an energetic, driven, and detail-oriented Associate Account Executive to join our award-winning integrated marketing, advertising, public relations, and branding team.

This role is designed for an emerging professional who aspires to grow into an Account Executive and future agency leader. You’ll work alongside experienced marketing and communications professionals, gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients, and develop the strategic, client management, and leadership skills necessary for long-term career advancement.

We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, tech-savvy, and passionate about learning. The ideal candidate embraces innovation, including AI-powered tools and modern marketing technologies, and is excited about contributing to client success while building a rewarding career in agency account management.

Salary Range

$50,000–$60,000 annually

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client & Project Management

  • Support day-to-day client relationships and account activities.
  • Collaborate with creative, digital, public relations, media, and production teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and client communications.
  • Maintain project management systems and ensure accurate documentation of client activity.
  • Prepare status reports, meeting agendas, project updates, and client presentations.
  • Assist with strategic planning and campaign implementation.

 

Marketing, Data & Technology

  • Utilize Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint to support client and agency initiatives.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and platforms to improve research, content development, workflow efficiency, reporting, and project management.
  • Assist with digital marketing initiatives including social media, content marketing, email campaigns, and website projects.
  • Monitor campaign performance and help develop reports that translate data into actionable insights.
  • Support marketing analytics, audience research, and performance measurement efforts.

 

Agency Operations

  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and project workflows.
  • Obtain vendor estimates, manage purchase orders, and track production schedules.
  • Proofread marketing materials and presentations for accuracy and quality.
  • Manage databases, mailing lists, and project files.
  • Represent the agency at client meetings, community events, networking opportunities, and industry functions.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Word.
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing AI platforms, automation tools, and emerging marketing technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

 

Preferred:

  • Internship or professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, sales, or customer service.
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, project management software, or marketing automation tools.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics, reporting dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar business productivity platforms.
