On Saturday, March 28, Blind Industries and Services of Maryland (BISM) is partnering with Checkerspot Brewing Co. to host a special community celebration in honor of the 40th anniversary of BISM’s independence training and rehabilitation (ITR) programs. BISM on Tap will feature live music, raffle prizes, blind-friendly games, brewery tours and braille demonstrations, as well as the release of two limited edition beers: Low Vision Hazy IPA and BlindSpot Honey Kolsch. Both beers will be available on draft and in cans with unique labels designed and hand-brailled by BISM employees.
