Each year, Route One Apparel celebrates Maryland Day on March 25 as its own version of Prime Day, offering exclusive sales and promotions. But in recent years, the company has started a movement to expand the celebration all month long, and to promote “Maryland Month” as a time to shine a light on all small local businesses – especially after such a challenging year. This year, our PR team worked closely with the Route One team to keep the brand’s name and message in local headlines all month long.
On March 14, founder and CEO Ali von Paris appeared live on WBAL-TV’s Sunday morning news to talk about all things Maryland Month 2021. Watch the interview here.
And on March 25, Ali was featured on “Coffee With” on the WJZ-TV morning show to discuss Route One Apparel’s Maryland Day sales, products, and partnerships with other local businesses. Watch the clip here.
Route One Apparel also earned media coverage for its support of other local businesses this month, as it announced it had fulfilled its promise to donate $10,000 to restaurants impacted by the pandemic. The company purchased $1,000 worth of gift cards from 10 local restaurants, which it then gave away to its social media followers. Learn more from these news stories:
