Thousands Attend 2nd Annual See Beyond Festival

On April 29, The Maryland School for the Blind (MSB) hosted its second annual See Beyond Festival. This event gives the public the opportunity to visit MSB’s campus and experience for themselves how the school’s students adapt to life without sight to achieve great success. Wanting to build on the momentum from the first See Beyond Festival, MSB partnered with Devaney & Associates to generate excitement for this year’s event through advertising, earned media placements, and community outreach.

In addition to negotiating media partnerships with Baltimore’s Child and Baltimore Fishbowl, D&A promoted the festival through social media advertising, grassroots community outreach, and media relations. Below is a sampling of media coverage secured leading up to and during the 2023 See Beyond Festival.

Overall, the work and efforts of MSB and D&A paid off as nearly 3,000 people attended the festival and the 2023 See Beyond Festival was a huge success! Explore some of our PR results below.
