Tess Koerner Junior Copywriter
Last summer, Tess dipped her toes into the world of marketing as an intern at Devaney & Associates and is now ready to jump in from the diving board! From an intern to a full-time employee, she made her way up the D&A ranks and exceeded every step of the way. Tess is excited to be back among familiar faces and use her writing skills full-time at the agency.
Tess earned her bachelor’s degree from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2024, where she studied English and communication. She was published in the 2024 editions of The Mount’s literary magazine, Lighted Corners, and humanities journal, Moorings. She also received a Summer 2023 honorable mention from WOW! Women on Writing for her short story, “The Cashier.” In addition to her literary achievements, one of her undergraduate highlights was writing for her university’s blog about her semester in Ireland.
Tess offers a fresh perspective on copywriting—one that’s steeped in creativity and ready to use in each project she touches. Her dedication to crafting a client’s perfect copy is part of what makes her the fierce writer she is. The D&A team is thrilled to welcome her back!
Outside of her work as a copywriter, Tess loves films and felines. When you chat with Tess, expect to come out of it with a list of movie recommendations and a mutual love for her 14-year-old cat, Nala.
