Summer Spotlight: Catching Up With Our Creative & Media Directors

Team D&A has been hard at work this summer, while also making memories that will last a lifetime. Check out our creative and media directors’ recent hot projects and summer fun!

Casey Boccia, Creative Director

Hot Project: Casey joined forces with Chase Brexton Health Care, the Baltimore City Health Department, and 16West Studios to create three videos about the U=U—Undetectable = Untransmittable public health initiative in Maryland. The short videos showcased how individuals who are living with HIV and following their treatment plans can maintain undetectable viral loads, meaning they cannot transmit HIV to their partners. The goal: educate Marylanders on how they can stop the spread of HIV and end the stigma around the disease. To achieve this, Casey worked with HIV specialists, healthcare workers, and members of the HIV activist community to create a dialogue and platform that brings positivity, hope, and straight talk to the public.

Creating Sunshine: Casey and her husband have been finding creative ways to keep their two boys entertained (and exhausted!) this summer. Adventures have included camping in West Virginia, hiking to a ghost town in Maryland, Nerf wars at the park, biking around Baltimore City, and adding an inflatable pool to their roof deck!

Susan Casey, Media Director

Hot Project: Our media director, Susan, has had a jam-packed summer working with Presbyterian Senior Living! The hot project started off strong with a large corporate campaign thanking essential staff at their various communities, coupled with positive messaging ads to keep spirits strong during a challenging time. Susan placed over 70 ads in 17 regions targeting the organization’s different senior living communities. In addition to her work with their larger summer campaign, Susan has managed all other placements for Presbyterian Senior Living, including digital and print advertisements to build overall awareness, promote their personal care and assisted living services, recruit staff, and promote events.

Creating Sunshine: When she’s not placing ads or planning media strategies, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and trying new recipes centered around crops in her husband’s garden. One of Susan’s favorite memories from this summer is taking a trip to Lewes, DE and going on a sunset cruise to dolphin watch!
