Does anyone else have Thursday, June 20, 2024, circled on their calendar?
We sure do! The first day of summer is almost here and Team D&A couldn’t be more excited. As we patiently await the arrival of the best season of the year, we wanted to take some time to share with you what we’re most looking forward to these next few months—from pool days to beach trips to spending time with our loved ones.
Diane
I am looking forward to lots of beach time with my entire family! It will be the first summer in five years that our oldest son Devon, and his wife Morgan, will be close enough to come and enjoy the beach.
Casey
I’m looking forward to all the joys of being a summer mom: lots of Orioles games, movie nights at the neighborhood pool, and three months of not stressing out about whether or not the science fair project is done.
Lisa
After a little spring jaunt to see Dave Matthews Band in Lisbon, and spending a week bouncing around Portugal, I am looking forward to more concerts, festivals, winery visits, and hopefully some beach time.
Lindsay
This summer, I’m looking forward to another exciting season of Orioles baseball and getting to Camden Yards as often as possible.
Valerie
During the summer, I enjoy having cookouts with family and friends and hanging out by my pool. I can’t wait to see if my granddaughter likes swimming. I am also looking forward to spending a few days during the July 4th holiday with friends and family at Deep Creek Lake.

I am really looking forward to having more time to spend in my garden this summer—and hopefully enjoying some of my tomatoes!

I’m looking forward to finally being able to enjoy D&A’s outdoor space while at the office and getting to spend time with family during the summer holidays!

I am looking forward to enjoying the weather, beach trips, summer sunsets, and hanging outside by the pool! One of my favorite places to visit during the summer is Charleston, SC, so I hope to take a few trips there this year as well.

I’m most excited about going to the beach this summer! My family goes to the same island almost every year, so it’s become a nice tradition. I love reading on the beach while listening to the ocean. I already have a stack of books ready to bring!

I’m so pumped to finally have nice weather and sunshine! I’m also really excited to go to the beach and to spend some time outside with family and friends.

This summer I’m looking forward to going to Orlando and being able to relax and read by the pool! It’s one of my favorite things to do on vacation. I’m also looking forward to doing some summer activities with my nephew since it will be his first summer! He recently started taking a few steps, so I hope he starts walking this summer.
Meghan
I am looking forward to a few summer adventures this year, but I also love the season for simple things like spending warm evenings on my rooftop reading and relaxing and going to the farmers market on the weekends.
