The Baltimore Station, a nonprofit offering therapeutic residential treatment and transitional housing programs to support veterans experiencing homelessness and other obstacles, collaborated with Leftover Love Inc., a nonprofit that rescues fresh leftover food from local businesses for those in need, to host a day of service for 10 Baltimore-area students to learn about food recovery and the impact on local food pantries and organizations.
This clip, coordinated by D&A’s PR team, highlights the day’s activities – students rescuing leftover food items, learning the process of food recovery, and preparing and sharing a meal with The Baltimore Station’s residents.
