D&A Around Town Fall 2022

It’s been a busy fall season for the D&A team! Here is a snapshot of a few of the places we’ve been over the past few weeks:

On September 29, we were proud to support client Maryland New Directions at its fourth annual MVP Pep Rally. Maryland New Directions is a 49-year-old, award-winning non-profit organization offering no-cost employment coaching and specialized career training programs for people in the Baltimore area. Held at Mt. Washington Tavern, the event celebrated participants who have experienced great success after embracing MND’s training programs and volunteers who have gone above and beyond to improve the lives of others.

On October 7, Diane Devaney represented D&A at the annual golf tournament supporting client Baltimore Medical System, an event we also proudly sponsored. Baltimore Medical System is the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) system in Maryland, serving more than 60,000 patients annually.

On October 11, Lisa D’Orsaneo, Account Executive and Lindsay Hebert, PR Director attended the bwtech@UMBC Cyber Tech Awards. The ceremony celebrated the successes of the students and entrepreneurs within cybersecurity and technology at bwtech@UMBC – the Research & Technology Park for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

On October 27, Art Director Kolleen Kilduff attended a photoshoot with client BridgingLife for its official newsletter, DASH. The shoot was for DASH’s cover story on John Himmer, a patient who slowly but steadily recovered from serious illness and was released from hospice thanks to the exceptional care of BridgingLife’s team. Kolleen and the crew photographed John doing one of his favorite hobbies – fishing with his family – at Merritt Point Park in Maryland.

From October 28-30, D&A president and proud Leadership Maryland member Diane Devaney attended the organization’s 30th Anniversary celebration at the Hyatt Chesapeake in Cambridge, Md. The celebratory weekend closed with a dinner and program commemorating Leadership Maryland’s 30 years of empowering a diverse network of the state’s most influential leaders.
