Major heat waves settled into Baltimore this summer, and St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore’s (SVDP) Bean’s and Bread Resource Center opened its doors to the community as a local cooling center. As temperatures began to dominate local headlines, D&A’s PR department got to work, pitching SVDP to media, connecting representatives to reporters, and securing media coverage on WBAL-TV and in The Baltimore Sun.
